Maldron Hotel Portlaoise in

Didn't use hotel facilities but used some of food kitchens in food court and was very happy with coffee food ect. also find staff friendly and patient . Lovely place to take a break if travelling or just enjoy a newspaper and coffee.

One of the most important things when you get to your room: it was clean. Both times I stayed here. Staff was friendly and breakfast was a highlight; Irish breakfast, porridge, fruits, gluten-free and non-dairy options available, pastries… There’s also a gym, a swimming pool and a jacuzzi available - two different entrances but you can get there through a corridor at the hotel’s ground floor Another high point was the proximity to a petrol station with fast-food, asian food and some other options to eat just 2 minutes walking from the hotel’s reception.

Booked a room for 1 night, on a special deal-room, bed& breakfast and 2 course evening meal. The room was very clean and tidy. I had the feather blade beef and cookies and cream cheesecake. The beef was very tender and beautifully cooked. The cheesecake was silky smooth with the exception of the crunchy cookie bits. All in all, a very nice start

Fantastic! Josh at reception and Jasmine at the bar made us feel so comfortable and looked after. Honestly the staff are the selling point of this lovely hotel

Fabulous hotel, rooms are spacious and clean lovely bathroom and the breakfast was very nice and plenty of everything and the staff we're lovely

We only spent a night at this hotel. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and the service was very good. The kids loved the gym and pool. Would definitely stay again.

Value for money and clean rooms. Leisure center was a plus. Dinner at the restaurant was also good.

The expertise, professionalism and service they provide is above and beyond and always with a smile from all the friendly staff Me and my wife recently got married here and we can not thank the staff at the maldron portlaoise The food, atmosphere and overall day was wonderful and would definitely recommend anyone thinking about having a special day or event The rooms were lovely super clean and cosy And the amenities of the use of the pool and facilities were much enjoyable We will definitely be back again Thanks again
