Maldron Hotel Portlaoise in

I spent just one night here with my two kids, and everything was great. The hotel has a great pool, jacuzzi, saunas, ample parking, and a 24-hour restaurant right next to the hotel. The beds are comfortable, and the people working there are nice, so we might return someday. Plus, I booked on their website because it was cheaper than on other platforms, even with my discounts.

Lovely stay in Maldron last night. Josh was so friendly at reception and even wrote Annie her own key card! Roisin was so chatty for breakfast and dinner! Fab location and facilities as well😃

I had hoped for the break to coincide with our wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, a family situation altered that plan. So when we got the opportunity. We booked at short notice. I mentioned 'candidly' to Aggie about our anniversary and she pulled out a few stops for us to help make the stay more meaningful and special. Our room was upgraded with a welcome gift waiting for us. Thank you Aggie and all the staff. The rooms and all aspects about the hotel was clean and fresh. Food, drinks and service was always very good. We would have no problem recommending this hotel in the future

Excellent Hotel, really enjoyed our stay.

Overall really nice hotel, excellent staff, good quality food and nice friendly atmosphere.

I can’t fault the hotel itself. The gym could do with more weights plates for the free weights but that has no effect on my stay. The rooms were dark and the beds were comfortable so we all got a good night’s sleep which is a rarity in hotels where the pillows are usually hard enough to build with.

Great place, very clean. The pool was uncomfortable to swim as it was divided into 3 areas and packed. Burger King and a convenience shop very close to the hotel. Reception was a bit poor.

We had 2 lovely nights at the hotel. Breakfast and dinner were lovely. The rooms were clean and spacious, we will definitely be back . The staff were amazing especially Roisin Josh and coaimhe. The kids loved them. 🥰

Clean rooms, delicious breakfasts and dinners. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I recommend it 😉
