Maldron Hotel Tallaght in Dublin

The most memorable part of staying at the Maldron in Tallaght is the friendly staff. They did everything in their power to be accommodating at all times and we would return to this hotel based on that alone.

Overall the experience was good. Unfortunately one of the cleaners broke a phone cable in our room. The lady on reception went above and beyond even allowing us to borrow her own personal phone cable. Now I know accidents happen and am glad with how it was resolved

Rooms are a bit tired and emotional, a bit like me after a night of beeping from the pedestrian crossing outside my window. Location good and prices fair, ate in the hotel restaurant which was decently priced and food quality was not bad. Have stayed here twice as it is a good location to access Dublin West and South as well as the airports. Areas for improvement, lick of paint in the rooms, thinner duvets or blankets and softer pillows please!

Some wonderful staff people here. Adithyan at the front desk and Hugo behind the bar. The hotel needs a serious make over though. The rates are excellent but the neighborhood's a little dodgy.

I've stayed in the Maldron in Tallaght several times before. This was the first time I've stayed on the 1st floor, and in room 122. The carpet on the corridor was visibly dirty from old stains. The curtain in the room was broken, the end was pulled off the rail. Generally it felt shabby. This is just a one time review as I have stayed here before on other floors and it's been perfect. This review is not in anyway a reflection on the staff, the staff are great.

So a mixed tale here. We booked a 3 single bed family room. The room itself was clean and had everything we needed. But it was really hot in the room and as we were right next to the main road we could not open the window. This resulted in 4.5 hours of sleep. I went to reception 1st thing. Micheal was exceptionally helpful and he relocated us to a different room on the inside of the hotel. This was much quieter than the other room and much cooler as we were able to open the window. Resulting in a much better night's sleep. The rooms were clean and tidy.

We just had a family lunch in restaurant. I love the upgrade. Place is so much brighter and cleaner. Additional simple decoration made huge difference. Food was brilliant. Especially steak.... And staff as always very welcoming. Vojtech as always made our lunch as enjoyable as possible.

Had my baby christening in the Shannon suite 2, Gorgeous room , staff wore super friendly and very welcoming. They had the room done fabulous.
