Two night stay. Standard room which was clean, warm and large enough to accommodate two. Breakfast included in rate. Reception and dining room staff all exceptionally courteous and helpful. Good variety of hot and cold dishes available for breakfast. Dinner menu is standard fare @ thirty euro per plate. Quiet atmosphere given the time of year. Few guests. Situated on the busy N81 road in Tallaght so some might find the traffic noise intrusive. Ample compliment ary car parking available. One of the few hotels that remain open for the entire Christmas period in Ireland, seemingly. Only one negative observation - the lighting in both the bedroom and the restaurant area is rather dim and makes reading difficult. Very good value for money overall. Three star hotel but a four star guest experience.

Location is a bit out of the city centre, but still 45 mins on a luas into the city or a bus is about 60mins. Hotels lovely , room I got was massive! Had a tv with a lot of channels , had a gym, a pool . Had everything really. I didn’t eat or drink there as it was for a work event the next day .

I had a genuinely lovely stay at the Maldron in Tallaght. The hotel could benefit from a little modernisation, but the staff more than make up for it. Their service is honestly on par with a high-end hotel - check-ins, warm smiles, great personalities and real support throughout my stay. Michelle from Housekeeping was wonderful, and Adi at Front of House went above and beyond. They really made the experience special. The facilities are great, especially the swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. You do walk past the conference rooms to get there which is a bit unusual, but everything is very clean and well kept. For business guests, there are several conference rooms available. And the location is surprisingly convenient - Tallaght has fantastic transport links. There’s a tram, buses, and a big shopping centre right across the road, so you’re not isolated at all. Even coming from out of town, I found it easy. There’s also a bus that goes straight to Temple Bar in around 30 minutes, tram goes to the Museum for about 5 euro return. You may need a travel card, which I believe can be ordered online. Locals were very understanding when I got lost and were genuinely helpful every time. I highly recommend the Maldron. The rooms are clean, comfortable and perfectly fine Could not find the remote for the tv. I do wish all rooms came with robes and slippers, but these are available in the executive rooms. As a female traveller, I also appreciated that the room could be locked securely from inside. I didn’t try the restaurant or bar, so I can’t comment on those, but there’s plenty of food options around the area. Tallaght is developing and I can see it becoming an even nicer place to stay. Overall, Ireland was amazing, and so were its people. Thank you to the Maldron Tallaght team for a great stay!

Nice hotel with good access from M7 (Kerry, Cork and Limerick, and Waterford via M9), easy parking option in underground space, clean rooms and good food. There is nothing well above the good standard, but also nothing below. Communication with Dublin city centre may be a little bit an issue if own car cannot be used, but for well planned trip the hotel may be considered as good option to stay.

23/01/2026: Great service , fast , clean bathrooms , nice ambience ❤️
07/01/2026: Service was superb, greeted and sat very quick. Only real complaint is some of the chicken burgers are too small for the price. Other than that would recommend for a meal every now and then.

10/01/2026: Incredible food! Came in on a whim looking for something nice to eat while wandering, and couldn't hsve picked a better spot. I had Sizzling lamb in hot chilli oil sauce, meat dumplings and rice, between two people. The lamb was cooked and served incredibly well. The rice was served as wonderful heart shapes, and the dumplings were perfectly crispy and flavourful. The chili sauce and vegetables served with the lamb were also very well done with plenty of flavour. Service was well and kind. The location is small, but absolutely fit for purpose! A certain recommendation.
03/01/2026: First time trying Korean BBQ, an interesting concept that we thoroughly enjoyed. We had the BBQ for 2 and you certainly would not be short of food. Staff very friendly and helpful
