The Dog House Blues Tea Room in Dublin

My last visit here back in 2019 was excellent and that’s why we recommended it to our friends and brought them over. This time, the food was average. - fish & chips is a bit different from other places, it’s pan fried rather than battered and deep fried, it was under seasoned and a bit dry - pizza was ok, not too heavy on the cheese, but the crust was bit too thin - seafood chowder was nice, but the seafood in it was less compared to some of the other places where I’ve had this - nachos were average Staff was friendly but the service was slow, maybe because we went on a Saturday around lunch time.

The service was excellent but unfortunately the food was a bit of a let down. Under seasoned and not to the best standard. Also the area could use a bit of a scrub...tables were left not cleared and the dust was evident around the place. Some clear management could go a long way.

The burger was the dryest I have ever eaten-could not even chew it. No one was at the restaurant and it took about 35 minutes to get our food. Food and service experience not good, but the restaurant decorations and setting is super duper cute. Interesting they have a bed next to the tables haha

My girlfriend and myself both got the Seafood Chowder that came with brown bread and butter. I have to say it was absolutely brilliant and the service was very good also. My girlfriend also liked the red dragon tea and overall it was extremely good value for money. Will be visiting again

Great place to chill with your fur baby and other human friends. The food is also great. Strongly recommended

Popped in briefly for a pot of tea while visiting Howth on a day trip. Fell in love instantly with the atmosphere! The overhead heaters made it so cozy on what was a very cold day and the staff were so lovely and friendly. Already planning my next visit!

The food was amazing and also the atmosphere. Myself my husband my son and my dog had a great time. I really recommend this place if you would like to bring your dog with you.

Service is good. area is Kind of dirty. Pizza was terrible, undercooked, soggy, physically can’t eat it without all the toppings falling off
