We were here with a tour group. First, we were given a brief introduction to hurling, and then we got to hit a few balls ourselves. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we couldn't play as much as had been advertised. That was a bit short; I would have liked more time. Afterwards, we could pour our own beer, and there was live music. The singer was funny and knew exactly how to get everyone involved. Half of our group ended up playing an instrument, and everyone sang along. The atmosphere was fantastic. It was really fun.

had an opportunity to swing a Hurley stick ... was fun!! I think I could understand this game before understanding either NA football leagues! Adrian entertained our group and had everyone involved. The outdoor patio area is so welcoming! make the time to visit, pour a pint - 1 got a 10/10 even if Greg said it was a 5/10

First time ever in Ireland and my husband and I were taken here by our tour guide and what a great experience! Welcoming atmosphere, wonderful entertainment, and the most kind people. Even learned a little about hurling which we weren’t aware of here in California! If we are lucky enough to visit Ireland once again we will definitely be visiting!

Malzard's Pub will likely hold a special place in my heart for the rest of my life. During my trip to Ireland we stopped through here and the bartender was kind enough to make me one of his favorite drinks which was a Whiskey Sour and I have now learned I absolutely love it. I also tasted Irish Moonshine for the first time and learned to play pool properly (all in the same night!) and the atmosphere was great. friendly folks and a lovely covered outdoor area. My Friends and I had a fantastic time and I hope I get the opportunity to visit here again!

Fabulous venue, Atmosphere is warm and friendly. Old pub to the front nice for a drink and meet the locals while enjoying the music. Lovely new venue to the back that catered for Wedding and birthday parties . Worth checking it out.

What can I say that hasn’t been said by other reviewers? I was brought here by a Collette Ireland Tour and if you want the quintessential Ireland Pub Experience, you’ll definitely want to hit this place. It’s got the look, the feel, and although I’m not sure what you’ll experience while there (our stop featured stew and a musician), you’ll walk outta there with a smile. The staff is friendly, the drinks are good and the camaraderie was everything I could have hoped for.

My daughter and I had a fantastic experience here! We learned about hurling and I learned to pour a Guinness! (I got a 9/10!) The food and drinks were great. Just go!!!! And talk with the owner about the importance of supporting local businesses

Absolutely delightful staff. We had a wonderful time learning about hurling. The facility is amazing, with the front rooms as dedicated pub spaces, and the rear "Garden Room" a lovely open space for large gatherings looking out on the hurling field. I'm so thankful for the barkeep keeping the atmosphere fun and engaging, ensuring the crowd had a blast.
