Malzards in Lawcus

We visited Malzards on our recent trip to Ireland. Fun, atmosphere, and company were easily all 10/10!! Pulled a pint and got a perfect pour. Will definitely visit if we ever go back!!

Just went in for some pints. Lots of cosy nooks and crannies. A great pub. One of the best in the country. Pool table Darts. Fire. Its got it all going on here.

Malzards is an oasis in a small sleepy village they call Stonyford .Just 15 mins to Kilkenny and 20 mins to Waterford Malzards have it all They cater for party groups of of sizes and celebrations.Staff are pleasant and friendly.Live music at the weekends and a pool room to boost.Freddie the owner is great to deal with and get this he even provides Accomodation in the form of glamping pods and an area for your home away from home...the ole Camper home at the back of the establishment.Malzards also cater to bus tours and are known to put on a display of the sport of Hurling...the Americans love this and the Irish music that is in the bar while they are visiting.

Absolutely the BEST pub visited during our two week tour of Ireland. The host is fantastic, the entertainment such fun, the atmosphere wonderful. I can’t imagine a better pub experience. Thanks so much to the owner and staff for making our visit so memorable.

It was the highlight of a 10 day tour. It is what an Irish pub is -music and a brew. Laughter great for the heart and soul.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Friendly locals, great vibe Fantastic find! Cozy bar and gorgeous restaurant. We wandered in starving, only to find the kitchen was closed — but the locals at the bar immediately came to the rescue. They recommended a kebab place down the street that delivers, and the bartender even handed us a menu. Drinks were poured, food arrived, and we had an unexpectedly perfect night. I cannot say enough about this place. And the hurling experience sound like a ton of fun!

Great Irish Pub with live music and entertainment. Also being able to go out back and practice Hurling is great. Bonus to also having Hop House 13 on tap gives them a 5 star!!

I had a great experience at the pub, Garry and the other staff were great and I had a ton of fun!
