Malzards in Lawcus

Atmosphere and welcome couldn’t be better! Loved the live music and friendly atmosphere. Definitely worth the visit!

Malzards don't do food, but Fred the landlord is the perfect host... Pub of 2024 is well deserved..

I visited Malzards during my tour of Ireland last week and had THE BEST TIME! One of my most memorable experiences in Ireland! I had the opportunity to learn about Hurling, practice some Hurling drills, and win the Hurling contest for my group 😝 I also had the opportunity to pour my own pint of Guinness. The chips in this pub were THE best chips I had in all of Ireland (I was trying to become a connoisseur of fish and chips… So I ate chips daily all around the country).

An absolute jewel of a pub. It's one of those places that you must see, it's like a time machine back to better times.. Beautifully laid out, amazing music. If you are near. Have a pint here

Learned how to play hurling, then went inside and enjoyed great live music and a few cold ones with friends. 10/10 would recommend

What a brilliant experience. A wonderful friendly atmosphere and entertainment during our lunchtime visit and with good food too.

We had a great time here! Learned how to draw a pint of Guiness...scored an 8! Also had a beginner lesson in Hurling; no not the kind you do after too much fun, but an actual Irish sport... difficult but fun. Great sing-along with the local combo and Fred the dedicated and informative owner.

Love this place! Learned how to play the sport hurling, listened to live music and played with the musician for fun, had a great time!! And the owner is so personable
