Malzards in Lawcus

An awesome place! Learned a bit of Hurling (the game) and poured my own beer. (I got a 10/10, but Garry still topped it off, so might have been an 8/10 in reality. We listened to a great musicians who let us sing along and some chips to soak up the Kilkenny beer (figures it’s not available here cuz it’s a perfect beer) if you are in Ireland,GO HERE!

Very, very beautiful there and absolutely worth a visit!!!

Great experience here last night :) came in later in the evening and were able to catch the last song from the live band... then enjoyed a pint (or two) and had a good chat with the owner (Fred). Gary was very knowledgeable about local whiskey and was kind in explaining the varieties to us. We felt well taken-care-of and are hoping to come back in a couple nights for more music!

I had an absolute blast here with my tour group! it was such a great experience and I had a ton of fun learning how to play with the hurling experience.

Malzards is a beautifully decorated pub with an outdoor entertainment area for when the weather is good and sunny. Fred is very welcoming to all guests.

Here with a tour, taught us 4 moves for hurling, great relaxed atmosphere. Good local music, involved the crowd for singing and dancing. Great Pub, feels like home

The perfect pub. Old world charm, family tradition, friendly service and incredible innovation. The snug with an open fire on a cold winter's day. The incredible beer garden (like an AI imagined dream of a beer garden) on a summers evening. Perfect.

Fabulous afternoon spent there, Guinness, Irish Stew and excellent music. Recommended!
