It was a birthday party dinner, two couples. Amazing food as always, amazing beverages, and service was the best you can get in Dublin. We had Mahabir as our host, he was amazing, and floor staff provided impeccable service. Mama Yo was and will always be one of gems of dining experience in Dublin. Unbelievable food - prawn toast (best we have ever had), lotus buns and general gau chicken particular highlights. Atmosphere also excellent, we were concerned it would be too “insta” vibes but lovely staff people and vibe

What sits behind a very inconspicuous facade on Camden street is a marvellous and delightful dining experience. Passing by Mama Yo, your immediate assumption would be that it’s good, modern, and stylish restaurant. You would not half expect the actual grandiosity of the interior. On walking into the back, this is what hit me first, the incredible design and decoration of the place. There is an entire tree right in the centre. Whether it’s real or not, it’s still quite impressive. The atmosphere was ambient and cozy with music playing at a volume where you could hear across the table. Perfect for a date. The staff all greeted us with a smile and our server was incredibly nice. The food itself was exquisite. Classic East Asian dishes done in an incredibly creative way which managed to maintain authentic flavours and textures. The portion sizes were fairly healthy seeing as we couldn’t finish our dinner and had to take away. Granted this is all accompanied by a heavy price tag. All in all, a fantastic spot for a date night for those of you who enjoy good soulful and contemporary Chinese food

Have been wanting to visit this place for ages and it did not disappoint. The pork lettuce dish was the stand out for me also the orange crunchy bar dessert was delicious. The raspberry white chocolate cheesecake tasted only of raspberry and I was in it for the white chocolate so that was a let down. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive without being invasive. Cool vibe, eclectic decor. Looking forward to going back!

Good place to grab lunch in Camden Street. The interior design is very well crafted. The food is good and the service is lovely. Would recommend.

First time eating here & wow! We came for valentines lunch and were blown away by the service. Fastest service we had both ever experienced! I had the Salt and Chilli Tofu and it was seriously the BEST tofu i’ve gotten ever- i’ve been vegetarian for 8years. My partner said the Salt & Chilli chicken and the Sweet & Sour chicken dishes were “perfect”. Seriously incredible. Lovely staff too :)
