Best food, I have ever eaten after I came to Ireland. Food is soo tasty, and delicious I loved it I loved the service, the chef is so polite and the girl who is their on the counter is very helping she knows what your taste buds want after you tell her what type of food you want to eat

Finally Athlone got real good Indian food place. I absolutely love their Tikka masala, and Butter Chicken is must try. Their signature Afghani Chicken is good as well. Would definitely recommend this place.

Outstanding food. Truly authentic and ingredients feel high quality. Their mango lassi is wicked. Vegetarian options are excellent as well as meat based ones. Very good naan. The cook and the staff are super friendly too.

Biddy O'Dowd's

29/03/2025: If you are looking for a cosy, homely pub this is exactly the place you need to go to. The staff are amazing (shout-out to Trish). If you're looking for a good cocktail she's your woman. The staff in this bar make you feel so welcome everytime and to make it even better the pints are unbelievable! I'll never come to Athlone without hitting Biddy O'Dowd's for one (or 10) 😂.
13/03/2025: Cool pub, great example of the pub in the living room. Full of punters for Cheltenham, which is a testament to how high in esteem this pub is held in the town of Athlone. Had a pint of Biddys, a home branded lager, did the job
