Excellent cafe..if you need a good portion of good scran then this is the place...Full all day breakfast was the best I've had in Ireland and my partner had a Shepherds pie to die for..mega sized all at a very fair price..would recommend. Dog friendly covered courtyard...

Best breakfast we have eaten so far. Portions are huge, freshly prepared and inexpensive. The staff was nice and all of our wishes were fulfilled. Is highly recommended.

This place has my heart, in the heart of donegal. The place was in our explorers list from quite a while and we got the opportunity to visit it last weekend. The place usually has a waiting of 5 - 10 mins but has lots of space on first and the backyard. The food over here is just as the people here a FULFILLING and great. The portion size of the meals here is truly fabulous and tastes amazing. We had ordered chicken fillet burger with sides and chips, and a veggie breakfast with hasbrowns. The service was quick and amazing with host Marina itself getting involved in the business. I would surely recommend this place to try it for once atleast.

17/03/2024: I was in Simple Simons Saturday 16th of March. I found my experience to be pretty "meh". I ordered a latte which was brilliant, very tasty. I had the ramen noodle bowl, the broth was lacking flavour, the noodles appeared to be tagliatelle pasta ( very over cooked), I had pork belly (quite chewy), half a hard boiled egg, 2 pieces of pak cho, quite an amount of what were dried mushrooms so in turn were very rubbery, pickled cabbage and sweetcorn I ordered a glass of water which never appeared. The wait staff didn't check in with me at all once they'd served my food. At €19.45 I found it a little overpriced. I will return in future to give another chance.
