Proper old-school Irish pub, with the private snug at the front of the bar a welcome but unfamiliar sight these days. Relaxed vibe, friendly staff and a busy outdoor section on sunny days

The best pub in Rathmines, and has stayed the same over the years. Great bar staff, Guinness and atmosphere, and the most reasonable prices in the area. Often there will be a trad session of local musicians on midweek. Always recommend Slatts.

18/09/2025: While the place itself is not bad, overall the experience was rather average. For lunch, the prices are definitely high and don’t match the expectations. The food is quite ordinary, nothing special, and the service was slow. Overall, the place doesn’t really live up to its claims.
15/09/2025: Very long delays for food. Eventually got it, minutes after advising them our table of 12 had to leave shortly, food or not.

31/08/2025: Best gay bar in Dublin,a home outside my house.Amazing cocktails ,safe and lovely space and nice staff. I’m delighted to see Vini back ,he brings so much into the business,always creating a great and comfortable atmosphere!!
