Really great pub for a pint of Guinness in the afternoon or post-dinner on a Friday/Saturday night. There was one barman, Martin, working on his own for several hours on one of my visits and he commanded the taps like a war-time general.

Just back home from travelling and went to Slattertys in Rathmines on a Tuesday night . There was only one Bartender behind the bar and he was under pressure but it was extremely nice. not sure if he was the owner or not but he was extremely friendly and professional. I have to say he stood out a mile in his service. . Tall older Gent with tank top jumper . We will be back definitely. It’s great to see professional at its best now a days .

Love the environment with unique deco and suitable seats arrangement. The beer and spirits tasty wonderful no doubts. Service is wonderful the girl bartender was warm and enthusiastic, the manager or boss of the bar who wearing proper and handsome looks great!

Wonderful pub. Like many of the best pubs in dublin, it has been found out and, as a result, is often busy. If that doesn't bother you, then enjoy it, it's one of the best neighbourhood pubs in the city. They've also done a cracking job on the upstairs refurbishment. I've been coming here for years and it's always fantastic.

Great pint and nice pub. Unfortunately there was a woman at the bar, known to the bar man (used her name and seemed familar to him) that was heavily intoxicated and verbally abusing other customers. She was still being served when we left. It it wasn't for that it would be 4/5.

23/07/2024: We work around this area so popped in for Breakfast. The coffee was the best I have had in a long time. The staff very pleasant. My friend had the Breakfast Roll and I had the mini breakfast 50cents in the difference. His Breakfast Roll was packed full with breakfast goodies pudding, egg, rasher and sausage the Mini breakfast was very very mini 1 sausage, 1 rasher and 1 egg with 2 rounds of toast. I think there was either a mistake or to get value for money and cheaper at only 8 euro go for the Breakfast roll! I will return but maybe just for a take out next time.
