We decided to stop there because some friends told us it is an amazing place for food. We just tried the Steak sandwich, but we weren't really impressed. Some of the chips were still tough and undercooked and the pepper sauce was a little bit flavorless. Definitely we want to go back to try their carvery and other stuff in the menu so this review might change then. The service was perfect and the place is quite beautiful.

13/07/2025: Delicious Chicken Burger & Great Atmosphere! Had a fantastic meal at the Bridge House Bar. I ordered the chicken burger, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had — crispy, juicy chicken served in a fresh bun, topped with a giant onion ring and a cherry tomato for that extra flair. The portion was generous, and the thick-cut chips on the side were perfectly cooked. The presentation was top-notch, and the whole atmosphere of the place was warm and welcoming. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for anyone looking for tasty food and a relaxed vibe. Can’t wait to go back!

The Townhouse

19/02/2025: My wife and I dropped in here yesterday for dinner at luchtime.Everything was top class.An excellent dinner and dessert at a reasonable price.The staff were courteous and friendly.Very handy with a car park just opposite.Highly recommended!
03/02/2025: Stopped here when passing for some lunch and a few pints , had the special "bacon and cabbage" absolutely delicious , great staff - friendly and helpful . Really popular with locals coming in to eat.
