McAlpin's Suir Inn in Cheekpoint

Nice place to have lunch or an evening dinner , very tasty and a nice friendly atmosphere there ,

Great food, friendly staff, lovely views, what more could you ask for! Highly recommend the chowder! Deserts might need a little work, only small criticism.

We went to the very pretty village of cheekpoint harbour on Sunday 1st September 2024 - we went into the Suir Inn for a meal - what a fabulous welcome we received from the lovely landlady - the roast beef was absolutely super ❤️I would certainly recommend that you visit and eat in this smashing pub - margaret and Matt from Leeds Yorkshire England x

I just want to say thank you so much for a lovely experience yesterday. We had no table booked and we were seated no issue at a lovely table looking out at the estuary. Our server (I didn’t get him name) was a gem. We were seated at table 5 we ordered fish & chips and the seafood pie. Can I just say the seafood pie brought me back to the days of The Ocean Hotel when Rose was there. It was amazing. My partner said the fish & chips were scrumptious ( they must have been because I wasn’t offered any) 🤣🤣 We will definitely be back and I will be singing The Suir Inn’s praises and highly recommending. Until we meet again. Thank You 🤩

Spent an afternoon and evening in the Suir Inn , beautiful food, great staff were so nice and helpful, complements to the chef and general manager Colm Schwer for there hospitality, cant wait for the next visit.

Had the fish and chips here it was lovely sat outside as it was a nice day overall it was very nice

A great spot for a drink, we unfortunately visited on a day when they weren’t serving food which we wanted to try. As a pub on the water, sitting outside with a beautiful view and a drink in hand d, we couldn’t think of anything better.

Had a really excellent night at the new Suir Inn. Gorgeous place to have a pint, the new bar has an excellent outdoor terrace & the old road (for locals!) remains the finest outdoor pint in Ireland! Then the restaurant looked after my family and I super well, very tasty food and a good varied menu. Highly recommend this new (old) spot.

1st time here. Had a beautiful roast beef dinner. Cooked perfect and just enough. Had the meringue also lovely. The hot brownie & ice cream is delicious, Staff very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a trip in if your heading by for the ferry. Need to book ahead..
