McAlpin's Suir Inn in Cheekpoint

Martin was an absolute gent. Ask our names when I ordered a Guinness and had them all on the head. Lovely pints and great atmosphere!

Everything about this place was great! Very clean welcoming too! The locals were so friendly and we ran into Captain Andy! It was great to have some sea food too. Also the burger was wonderful!

One of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time, nearly ordered a second! My other half loves the mussels here, really friendly staff as well, just need someone else to drive so I can sample the Guinness!

Had the fish and chips today with a really fine pint of stout. Everything was delicious 😋 highly recommended

Nice restaurant in the middle of nowhere with a terrible viewon the power plant. The steak and Guinness pie was excellent, the prawn curry was a disappointment, too much corn, otherwise indefinable, overcooked vegetables. We searched in vain for berries in the berry and apple crumble. The portions are generous, and the restaurant is small but attractive. Overall, highly recommended.
