McCabes Deli in Dublin

03/04/2024: I asked for regular coffee. I even said I don’t see it on your menu, but do you have it? The lady said yes; it is called an americano. I said , no , I don’t want an Americano, I want just regular coffee. She asked what is that I said beans, boiled, and water. She said great I’ll get you that. She made the second barista asked me what I thought. I told her I do not see regular coughing on your menu, but the first girl said you had it. I told her I did not see a coffee maker anywhere, only an espresso machine. She said yes that is all we have. I will get you an Americano. I asked for just the shots with no water of espresso. I was given an Americano and told, the cream was on the counter. I did not want water down coffee, I would prefer straight espresso as I explained. The cream they said was available was only milk, not actually heavy cream, or pouring cream, just plain milk. They should make sure that if they tell someone and have them pay for something they would be able to get it, or be polite enough to understand there was miscommunication and offer a refund.

27/03/2024: Been here for weekday lunch and weekday prework breakfast. Turkey sandwich, breakfast sandwich, cappuccino and oat cappuccino were all delicious. Breakfast sandwich is perhaps a bit salty with all the pork fatty meat. The interior is lovely and there is ample seating both times I've visited. They only had two vegetarian options I saw for sandwich options (one being a special). They charge 50c for alternative milk which is the biggest driver of me not giving them 5 stars.
