Very hit and miss. Sometimes the food isn't hot. They don't park you up so the queue is always long. Always short staffed. Staff are always pleasant. Ice cream machine rarely works. The one by the airport is much better.

The meal was very disappointing for the fries were not freshly made they tasted like they were reheated and looked overcooked. The rest of the meal was okay.

The booths would take our offer codes but a very pleasant member of staff helped us out to our surprise and we got our offers. A lady nearby was having difficulty with a transaction but again the pleasant staff were saying no problem we will sort it out. We will definately be back.

My daughter and I went to McDonald's on Thursday, and we would like to use the employee meal, but no card readers were working, only cash at the tills. The girl at the till suggested using the kiosk for ordering, which we didn't mind, but there was no option for employee meals to be used on the kiosks. I wasn't happy with the service at all.

Poolside Cafe

05/10/2024: The lads are always upbeat, friendly and helpful. They cope well when there is a rush, the service is always friendly from my 100s of visits. The food is better than what to be expected for a very good value place. Copious, endless amounts soya etc for coffees
04/08/2024: Edit: Service has gone down tremendously in the last year or so, due to rude staff. One neck bearded staff member in particular will roll his eyes at anyone who has a coffee order longer than 3 words. Great toasted panini's and amazing prices. Definitely recommend if you need a quick lunch on a budget. Gets a little hectic during lunch and there's no structure in terms of getting your food so you have to keep an ear out diligently. Coffee is decent although the cafe has very little to offer in terms of seating as it's just in the sports centre
