McGowans in Dublin

Friendly, large and spacious air conditioned Sports Bar, staff friendly and helpful, service was good, food was ok, cider and beer was good, not the best selection of wines, x8 pints and x2 two course meals came to €105. A small external courtyard (with bar) available for open air drinking and smoking.

Food wasn't bad at all. I'd deafinatly come back again. Was in early Sunday afternoon at 3 o clock. Place was very quite but I can Imagine it was going to be packed for the Brazil game..plenty of locals came in which is also a good sign. Will be sure to visit this spot again when staying in relations near by. Chicken wings Dirty fries Pulled beef and Guinness tacos.

Large, well-maintained pub, very good food, clean, friendly service

We had an incredible experience at McGowans, and a huge part of that was thanks to Ella. She looked after me and a group of 18 friends over a stag weekend. Her hosting really enhanced our weekend. Despite it being an incredibly busy day with the Champions League final, she gave us amazing seats and provided top-class service throughout. Nothing was too much trouble, she was friendly, organised, and made sure everyone in our group was looked after. It was a brilliant experience, several of my friends commented afterwards that choosing McGowans to watch the match, together with Ella's outstanding service, made the day the best part of the weekend. I'd recommend McGowans to anyone looking for a fun, friendly venue with a fantastic atmosphere and genuinely exceptional service. Thanks again to Ella for helping make our stag weekend so memorable

The venue is big enough to host a whole party of 200! Big, cozy, comfy, no creaks in the wood, very welcoming people, food was exceptional with very good prices, and above all, all sorts of drinks to choose from. Perfect for a birthday party!!! Thank you staff, thank you McGowans of Phibsboro!

staff are fantastic so attentive even in a busy pub they were so helpful totally recommend a visit the Guinness is quality as are the strawberry daiquiriesj

Excelente venue been there few times and can say only gets better. Amazing day of sports night with lovely Brazilian band . Enjoy the moment to taste the food the Brazilian dish Coxinha was just perfect well done to all the staff friendly and helpful. Was really great night 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
