Family celebration of 19 from around the world coming back to our roots. Staff handled it superbly, food great and large portions. Very enjoyable afternoon. Well done!

Great service I ordered the fish and chips and I honestly thought the chips portion was very small...serve chips on the plate not in a tiny bucket seriously... forget about being fancy men ordering chips don't want it a tiny winy bucket.

Our first time eating here, we had the fish and chips , which were delicious. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. We came back the next day after a walk with our dogs, for coffee and scones(very tasty). Again the staff were so lovely, and attended to us and both of our dogs, providing them with a fresh bowl of water which the very much appreciated. We were invited inside with them as they are dog friendly, but opted to stay outside as it was a lovely day. Thank you from the 2 humans and 2 very grateful puppers 🐕🐕👍

Nice hotel with an amazing restaurant.

Recently reopened under new management and a great improvement. Called in for lunch and a pint of Guinness after walking the dog. Food was exceptional and the bar is now dog friendly. Having given up on this bar a few years ago it's great to see it re-open with a totally new approach. Well done.

A very busy restaurant. The food was good. The fish Chowder was delicious. The steak cooked well. The vegetarian roast dinner was simply boiled vegetables!

Just had the most amazing Sunday roast, tender succulent meat, vegetables cooked to perfection, friendly staff very attentive but not too much all for under 40 euro. We'll be back, would love to stay overnight.

Sad, sad news of hotel closure. First stayed at Mc Grory's as a 9 year old child, while holidaying with my parents and family. Nostalgic return trip Valentine's weekend 2025, as a 72 year old. The picnic tables outside are new but the traditional long benches are a feature I vividly remember from the early 60s. Culdaff beach is still stunning and unspoilt. We were first guests to check in to the hotel at 12.30 pm on Friday 14 February as the hotel re-opened after renovations. The welcome by the staff was warm and special with a glass of 'bubbles' to add to the experience. The valentine meal offer that evening was exceptional value and the food was very tasty. The rooms have been refreshed. The hotel is a very welcoming place where new friends are frequently and easily made. The hotel was busy with everyone in good form. There was no sense of the impending closure. Sad to reflect that we were probably the last guests to check out on Sunday 16th. The Mc Grory's name is synonymous with Culdaff. Hope it remains.
