Family celebration of 19 from around the world coming back to our roots. Staff handled it superbly, food great and large portions. Very enjoyable afternoon. Well done!

Great service I ordered the fish and chips and I honestly thought the chips portion was very small...serve chips on the plate not in a tiny bucket seriously... forget about being fancy men ordering chips don't want it a tiny winy bucket.

Our first time eating here, we had the fish and chips , which were delicious. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. We came back the next day after a walk with our dogs, for coffee and scones(very tasty). Again the staff were so lovely, and attended to us and both of our dogs, providing them with a fresh bowl of water which the very much appreciated. We were invited inside with them as they are dog friendly, but opted to stay outside as it was a lovely day. Thank you from the 2 humans and 2 very grateful puppers 🐕🐕👍

Nice hotel with an amazing restaurant.

Recently reopened under new management and a great improvement. Called in for lunch and a pint of Guinness after walking the dog. Food was exceptional and the bar is now dog friendly. Having given up on this bar a few years ago it's great to see it re-open with a totally new approach. Well done.

A very busy restaurant. The food was good. The fish Chowder was delicious. The steak cooked well. The vegetarian roast dinner was simply boiled vegetables!
