Hard to beat. Wonderful staff. Always welcoming. Excellent food. A world-class view of Mulranny strand. And they've got creamy pints of Beamish!

Nice enough spot for a roadside pint. Didn't seem like the kitchen was open at 4p on a Thursday.

A great traditional Eire pub, well attended by locals and a friendly owner. Deco is spot on with lots of shining dark woods on counters and tables.. The deco within and outside the pub makes good use of contrasting wood and stone with the colour yellow which makes for an interesting look. There are tables outside the front of the pub and a large covered area at the back of the pub too. Dogs are allowed outside in the open front area and in the covered area at the rear which you can easily access at the side of the building, so there is no need to enter through the front door.

Great little bar. We visited on a coolish Thursday night at the end of a couple of days on the Island. A cozy peat fire and friendly locals provided the warmest of welcomes, enjoyed over a couple of very creamy pints of the black stuff. Now living in England, peat is hard to find. After asking, the landlady helped me out with a wee bit to take back with me. Couldn't fault it. A perfect end to a wonderful visit to the Island.
