McMahons is my gorgeous local café right beside the botanic gardens. The staff are always incredible and have a lovely selection of baked goods. The cold brews are fantastic as well as the hot chocolates. Gorgeous seating out the back and nothing beats sitting out front when it’s sunny. Keep it up McMahons!

This is a lovely little place. They put blankets on the chairs in cold weather, which my lady appreciated. The chicken pesto sandwich was delicious, and fairly cheap at €7.50. I have to go back to try the apple tart with hot custard.

Nice place. Not a great selection of cakes, could do with more gluten free options.

Surprised that in 2026 in Ireland, there is a coffee shop using single use for everything. Very disappointing and wasteful. If I call in for a coffee and snack, I don’t want it served on a flimsy plate with crappy cutlery. Grand for takeaway obviously. Also what is with the “Covid Screens”. It appears that they are stuck in “lockdown” from 2021.

Used to be a 5 star review.. but every time I go back the quality of coffee and food seems to slip a little.. reccomend the Pulled Pork sandwich, its expensive but worth it 👌

Stunning little cafe on the edge of the botanical gardens. Thoroughly enjoyed my oat chai latte, and banana bread slice. The staff were super friendly and VERY helpful when my friend needed first aid !! Thank you - would definitely return if I lived in the area.

Fennel soup and bread, to die for! Spice apple cake with custard, must have! Lovely, cozy place ❤️❤️❤️
