Very nice and historic pub in the heart of Dublin. The cleanliness is particularly noteworthy. The staff is absolutely friendly and helpful. Our food was very tasty and definitely freshly prepared. Not necessarily the norm in pubs. We can only recommend it and would be happy to come back.

03/03/2025: I have a medical condition and was at the bus stop and without my wallet. In desperate need of water I went into the 79 and asked the bar man and he was so kind and understanding. A real credit to your business.
03/03/2025: Danielle is very good staff member always on the ball, the carvery is the best around all the meats slow cooked i like the steak on stone €20 quid Monday's and Tuesdays can't go wrong especially if Weafer brothers on Mondays aswell
