Our second visit to this fantastic eatery. Food was delicious and the starter platter plentiful.
I’d recommend the tandoori sea bass.
Thank you Chefs for the gorgeous flavours.
Also thank you Gagandeep and others for looking after us.

Visited Mehek last evening with work colleagues and customers, while it was a Tuesday evening and things were quiet, the atmosphere was very pleasant. Our hostess (who I discovered is also the owner) was extremely attentive, offered advice on food choices and was on hand to check on things as the evening progressed.
The restaurant is spotless well appointed and fresh.
The food is absolutely stunning, freshly prepared, served piping hot, some of the best Indian food I have ever eaten, including when I was in India!
Service which was excellent, food which was simply superb, complete 5 out of 5 from myself and my guests.
We will be back... soon!

We had such a wonderful experience at Mahek Indian Restaurant! Gagan, the owner, personally took care of us and made us feel so welcome. The food was absolutely amazing – full of authentic flavors that made us feel like we were back in India, not away from home. Truly one of the best Indian dining experiences we’ve had. Highly recommended!

We had the pleasure of dining at Mehek for the second time, and once again, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, the owner was incredibly welcoming and attentive, paying close attention to even the smallest details from making sure the water wasn’t too cold to adjusting the spice levels of the dishes to suit our preferences.
We started with the non-veg platter, and the staff were kind enough to replace the duck with chicken on our request. The Chicken Tikka was juicy, succulent, and perfectly complemented by the pineapple chutney. The Lamb Kebab was melt-in-the-mouth tender and paired beautifully with mint and dahi chutney. The Pakora was wonderfully crisp with a tangy imli chutney, while the Kesari Prawns stood out for their tenderness and bold flavor, enhanced by the lassoni sauce.
For the mains, we had the Amritsari Bhuna Chicken, which was an absolute flavor bomb rich, aromatic, and deeply satisfying. To go with it, I ordered a stuffed cheese and chili naan and my partner chose the laccha paratha. Both breads were outstanding in fact, the best we’ve had in Dublin so far.
Overall, Mehek continues to impress us not only with its food but also with its thoughtful service and attention to detail. It’s quickly becoming one of our favorite restaurants in Dublin, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

From the moment we walked in, the music was cheerful, varied and delightful, which set a welcoming mood.
I let the server know that I can’t eat dairy, and she was very accommodating and went through everything individually with me.
Starters
We chose the Vegetarian Platter and every element was excellent. The onion bhaji were crisp and light, with a soft interior that was beautifully balanced. A simple salad of tomato, onion and carrot, lifted with chaat masala and a hint of pickle, was refreshing and bright. The deep fried cauliflower was crunchy and golden on the outside while still tender inside. The batata vada was smoky, rich and absolutely delicious, with perfectly spiced potato filling. The vegetarian samosa was perfectly cooked, with a satisfying crunch and a dusting of chaat masala that made it shine.
Mains
I had the Achari Bhindi, which felt comfortingly home cooked. The sauce was rich and full of flavour, and the okra was cooked just right, avoiding the common texture issue of okra. I also had the Mixed Vegetable Jalfrezi, which was bursting with smoky tomato flavours and included vegetables that were cooked with real care.
I had the Mushroom Pulao Rice, made with extra long grain basmati, which was earthy, aromatic and spiced with precision. The tandoori rotis were outstanding, with a flavour that reminded me of sourdough, warm and deeply satisfying.
To accompany the meal we had a Bordeaux Blanc, which was fresh and balanced, and paired perfectly with my partner’s monkfish. The Zaffrani Monkfish itself deserves a special mention. He declared it life changing, which I believe says it all.
Service was also a highlight. Our server Gagan looked after us with warmth and attentiveness, and we felt thoroughly cared for throughout the evening.
Mehek is a place that combines warmth, flavour and thoughtfulness in every detail. It offers both comfort and sophistication, and it is a restaurant we will happily return to.
