We stay at The Mespil regularly and just love everything about it. Michelle and all the staff from reception, the bar, restaurant and housekeeping are amazing. It has a lovely homely feel for a hotel in the city. Couldn’t contemplate staying anywhere else.

Very friendly welcome by reception. Quick and easy registration. Room in very good condition. The only small improvement could be proper noise free windows. This is actually many times an issue in the region.

Great Hotel / Car Park- Highlighted Great hotel that is very up to date. It was clean and very relaxing. It’s about a 30 minute walk to the city centre. I would respectfully highlight that the car park information was not clear and misleading. It is on a first come first serve basis. This was not highlighted in the booking. Meaning I had to park on the road away from the hotel when I was notified of car park being full at check in. Please update that information on websites so customers know they may not have full access to a car park.

Excellent hotel. I stayed there a few times in 2024 and will definitely be back. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are friendly and professional.

I really like this place! Staff are lovely, rooms are seriously cosy with the rare treat of a bath, and the hotel food is pretty fine, too.
