Mespil Hotel in Dublin

I stayed here from October 8th to 11th, 2025, to attend Google's "Google Products Expert Summit 2025 in Dublin." I suddenly encountered a problem with the electricity in my room, but other than that, I had no other issues and enjoyed a comfortable stay. The hotel is located near the Grand Canal, so I enjoyed a walk along the canal promenade before dawn. There were no particular security issues. The hotel staff were friendly, and I had a pleasant stay.

I stay at the Mespil regularly with work. It's fantastic 4 star hotel with some 5 star quality. The restaurant is good & there's many nice restaurants within walking distance too. The hotel has a small carpark which isn't that common for a city hotel. Notably the breakfast is really really good, a massive spread.

Far enough from the centre to give us the peaceful surroundings but close enough to walk into town

One of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying at - gorgeous common spaces and rooms. The staff is wonderful and the location quiet yet still in the heart of everything. My only wish is that I spent more time here.

Had a wonderful time on our first trip to Ireland. Stayed as Mespil for 10 nights and it was a great experience. Staff were terrific, hotel was clean and quiet, and tons of food options nearby. It’s also only a 25min walk to the city centre. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice 5 story hotel near the river. Location wise it isn’t very close to most tourist attractions but close to lots of restaurants and dining options. Will need to take taxi/public transit or do a 30-40 minute walk. Room is spacious and modern. Lots of controls for lights and usb ports. AC keeps the rooms to a cool 19C. King sized bed, bath robes and water filling station on the ground floor. Daily 2x bottles of water provided with housekeeping. Only complaint really is that the toilet paper is very rough, almost like newspaper rough and the chrome cast/TV is fairly old and wouldn’t work (saw other guests complaining about it to the front desk too).

We stayed for a week at the Mespil Hotel and loved it. Great room, good food with a friendly and helpful staff. It's in a quiet area and within walking distance of many sites.

Hotel located near the embassy and government area. The environment is elegant but at the same time gives you a sense of warmth. The breakfast (international) is rich and abundant with a wide selection of hot dishes, cold cuts, cereals and croissants accompanied with fantastic jams and yogurt. The staff is very attentive to the needs of the customer while the rooms are large, clean and welcoming. I recommend displaying the card outside the door to have your room redone! Highly recommended!!!

We had dinner in the restaurant of Mespil Hotel. Can't say anything but nice words. Place is so cozy ,nice and clean. Amazing food. Staff is so polite and helpful especially Diana and Milisav. We will definitely come back 😊
