One of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying at - gorgeous common spaces and rooms. The staff is wonderful and the location quiet yet still in the heart of everything. My only wish is that I spent more time here.

Had a wonderful time on our first trip to Ireland. Stayed as Mespil for 10 nights and it was a great experience. Staff were terrific, hotel was clean and quiet, and tons of food options nearby. It’s also only a 25min walk to the city centre. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice 5 story hotel near the river. Location wise it isn’t very close to most tourist attractions but close to lots of restaurants and dining options. Will need to take taxi/public transit or do a 30-40 minute walk. Room is spacious and modern. Lots of controls for lights and usb ports. AC keeps the rooms to a cool 19C. King sized bed, bath robes and water filling station on the ground floor. Daily 2x bottles of water provided with housekeeping. Only complaint really is that the toilet paper is very rough, almost like newspaper rough and the chrome cast/TV is fairly old and wouldn’t work (saw other guests complaining about it to the front desk too).

We stayed for a week at the Mespil Hotel and loved it. Great room, good food with a friendly and helpful staff. It's in a quiet area and within walking distance of many sites.

Hotel located near the embassy and government area. The environment is elegant but at the same time gives you a sense of warmth. The breakfast (international) is rich and abundant with a wide selection of hot dishes, cold cuts, cereals and croissants accompanied with fantastic jams and yogurt. The staff is very attentive to the needs of the customer while the rooms are large, clean and welcoming. I recommend displaying the card outside the door to have your room redone! Highly recommended!!!

We had dinner in the restaurant of Mespil Hotel. Can't say anything but nice words. Place is so cozy ,nice and clean. Amazing food. Staff is so polite and helpful especially Diana and Milisav. We will definitely come back 😊

14/07/2025: So myself and my partner had our joint 30th birthday party in Bobby’s, from start to finish we couldn’t have asked for a better venue and service. All queries we had answered quickly and hassle free before the night. Food and drink looked and we had 1 or 2 requests but that was no hassle at all. Gina , I can’t even begin to explain how good she is at her job. From the moment we met her we knew we were in good hands. The whole night she made everyone feel as if she was their mother, such a laugh and the best host you could literally ask for. She made sure both of our family’s were looked after from start to finish, she literally is 10/10 and exactly what you want in someone taking care of a night out. The space is perfect , nice layout and perfect for a private function. Gina has some banging playlists so if you’re stuck for tunes no problem at all. Really can’t rate this place highly enough and if anyone’s looking for a place to rent in town for a big event in there life, look no further than Gina and Bobby’s 👏🏻👏🏻
12/07/2025: The food was incredible here! It was lovely to have the option of getting a small bite with your glass of wine. The wine selection was great and prices were good. The actual place was really lovely but the whole experience was made by the lovely Gina who works here. She was so charismatic and bubbly it really made the night great! Such a welcoming place

Kru Food

26/03/2025: About a month ago, I began placing orders from KRU, and I must tell that I'm really happy with the meals they provide breakfast/ lunch and soups. I don't really have time to cook for myself because I'm a working mother of twins. Even though I'm not vegetarian or vegan I'm very happy with the quality and variety of the dishes!! They are very creative 😃 I highly recommend their food! It is mouth watering. They have great communication over the WhatsApp group and their app is handy to use! 👍👍
26/03/2025: I first started ordering from Kru the week my 2nd baby was born. I thought it would be great to get me through the though first few weeks. Well, that was 6 months ago, and I've been ordering every week since. I don't know how I lived without them. Roberta is a gem with amazing customer service and superb menus that chance up every week. There are so many different dishes iv never had before and all very tasty 😋 I would 110% recommend kru. Bounus points as it's all plantbased and sustainable wooop!
