Mickey Finn's in Redcross

Great food and an amazing beer selection at Mickey Finns Pub in Wicklow! The prices are very reasonable too – just €5.00 for a pint, which is a nice surprise these days. Every dish we tried was really tasty, so we can definitely recommend the food. The only letdown was the staff – not rude, but not particularly friendly either. However, the biggest downside by far were the toilets. Unfortunately, they were extremely dirty – honestly one of the dirtiest we’ve seen in Ireland so far, which really took away from the overall experience. Would still go back for the food and drinks, but the hygiene situation definitely needs serious improvement.

♥️♣️♦️♠️♥️♣️♦️♠️♥️ An absolute must-visit! The food was fantastic – fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great care. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it to everyone!

I will give 20 out of 10 for an amazing member of staff for both her help and initiative. I phoned to ask to organise a bottle of wine to a friend who was dining there. She quickly identified the person but pointed out the party were drinking both red and white. Without hesitation she suggested I buy a gift card and let them choose. Excellent idea We completed the purchase I thanked her and just mentioned that it was the lady’s birthday. I later got a call from my friend to say thank you. But not only was she presented with a fabulous looking gift card (which she has kept as a reminder) she was also presented with a cake with a candle and they sang Happy Birthday to her. Tears of happiness all around. I will be dining here myself ASAP. Well done xx
