Great spot with consistently good food and drink. Always great to visit!!! Wings in particular are worth the vist for.

Love this place, great atmosphere and delicious locally brewed beers.

What can I say , I’ve traveled all around the world tried so many different restaurants and right here on my doorstep is one of the best, let’s start with the beer they brew their own and my favourite is the Heles lager hope I spelled it right, 5€ a pint , now to the food … you won’t leave here hungry we love the prawns and the chicken wings for starters the best I’ve had anywhere else in the world, the chef’s specials this week was Duck with a chocolate sauce believe me it sounds crazy but wooooooow sooo delicious and beautiful, the Chef loves cooking food and brings his own style in his specials he loves what he does and you can tell by the food and imagine all this at a very reasonable price , now let’s get to the waiters and staff , they can’t do enough for you so helpful and very good at what they do , they take care of you and are always making sure you have everything you need , what a hidden gem in the beautiful town of Redcross , I would highly recommend this Restaurant and even if you had to look for accommodation just to eat here you won’t be disappointed, I thought of not leaving a review because I want to keep my special place for myself, definitely my favourite

Friendly staff, in both the bar and restaurant. Wonderful choice of food- chose 2 starters, curried mussels and large duck spring roll in sauce, both delicious. Drinks and food served in bar as the restaurant was fully reserved but staff were excellent!

We stopped by here on a whim around lunchtime (just the two of us) and wanted to enjoy a leisurely meal. The customer service and the staff’s attentiveness are definitely commendable and far beyond what we’ve experienced so far (after one year in Ireland). Esster was super accommodating and even moved us to another table when she realized a larger group had sat down right next to us. We had a burger with fries, and “Oh my God”—what can I say… The fries were out of this world—nice and crispy on the outside, nice, soft and juicy on the inside, and perfectly salted—not like the typical Irish fries, which are soft, mushy, and tasteless. The burger… “Damn, was that good”… juicy, flavorful, with a hearty patty that actually tasted like meat, a perfectly balanced combination of sauces to go with it, and the lettuce fresh and crisp… simply a dream—it was by far the best burger I’ve had in the last 12 months. The atmosphere is rustic and cozy, inviting you to linger, and if you happen to get bored, there are countless little signs hanging on the walls with sayings that often make you smile but often hide a deeper meaning. Last but not least, we got a quick tour of their own brewery so we could take a look behind the scenes… simply incredible—every minute of the 1.5-hour drive was worth it, and we didn’t regret a single second… Dear Mickey Finn’s Pub Team… Thank you so much , for this amazing experience, the friendliness, the food, and the great time you gave us…🥰🥰🥰🍻🍻🍻👍👍👍👍 See you again…👍🍻🥳

Food excellent. Service excellent. But a suggestion that adults only who want to eat after 7.00/7.30 should have the option of sitting in a child free area. That's the only reason for giving 4 stars not 5

Since we were there with our dog, we ate outside. There was traditional Irish live music inside, which we could hear well from outside too. The food was fantastic and the local beer was delicious. We'd love to come back.
