Took a long time to seat us eventhough we were the only ones waiting and the place was not full. Then, we were ignored until I flagged a waiter. Food was average. Not my best experience.

Lovely staff this evening. Pizza was good without being amazing. You know what you will get food wise in Milano usually. So it's all. About they service and they were all great tonight.

We had a great experience in Milano. We got the 3 course menu. I started with some chicken starters, and my friend tried the dough balls. The pizzas were also very tasteful and i had the braisrd beef wich was very delicious.
The desserts was also fine, but all desserts were clearly store bought, wich was a shame, when all other dishes was such high quality of homemade food.

Second time at Milano in Dun Laoghaire, and it's just meh. The food is nothing special. The pizza looked good on the menu but had barely any toppings, aside from loads of onion. The calamari tasted like it came from a chip shop, and the arancini was cold. The kids' meal is decent value, though. I felt bad for the waitress, who was clearly overwhelmed juggling tables and takeout orders.

I always enjoy the food when I go here. We went in as we were hungry and hadn't th energy to go home and cook. We had walked to dunlaoghaire and down the pier and around the shop. We went in and sat down, and we were served pretty quickly. The pizza I ordered was delicious as usual. I tend to go for the same thing, a vegan mushroom pizza. The other person ordered a carbonnara pasta, which came out hot and delicious, and it stayed warm. We were both very satisfied with the food. The atmosphere was grand, we were seated at one table but it was too cold so we moved to another which hadn't been cleaned off yet. But we didn't mind. I'd say they were rushed off their feet and short staffed, which can happen. I do think, though, some people might not be impressed I however understand that at certain times, the staff will struggle to maintain the tables if there s a quick turnaround. After all, lunch and dinner are busy times. Anyway it was noisy with kids but I found it entertaining. That's after all the things about milanos are geared towards families. I just watch the kids and smile. They are always happy and entertaining. I did see that one of the staff was very helpful to a woman with four kids, helping cut up the pizza for one of the kids, which was lovely. The staff were great to her and her kids. Which is ony right, focus on those who need the help. We both enjoyed our meal. We paid and we left. It was a great end to our day of shopping. I'd highly recommend milanos as it is a lovely accommodating place, especially for families. And being vegan, I like the fact that it always has an actual menu for us. I do, however, think that maybe the staff should ask before giving you a menu if any of the party is vegan as I always have to ask for the menu, but it's not a major thing.
