Great experience eating here for the first time on Saturday! Staff were super friendly and helpful, coffee was served immediately and was fantastic. Food tasted amazing and it was a comfy, cosy space to spend some time. Totally recommend!

Average food. Twice I’ve been here, first visit ordered pancakes it was ok. My second visit I ordered avocado and poached eggs. Eggs were over cooked and little slice of bread it came with was soggy. I will just visit this place for their coffee food is below average I wouldn’t recommend.

My favourite cafe in Ennis. The coffee is fabulous, the best in Ennis for sure. Their food is delicious too. The pancakes and the avo with eggs on sourdough toast are super tasty and you can tell are made with quality ingredients! The staff are always so helpful, friendly and kind, particularly the lovely lady from Romania.

Old Ground Hotel

08/11/2024: It's a great place for a relaxing break. Good food and entertainment. Right in the heart of Ennis.
25/10/2024: My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and it was by far our favorite hotel/room of the whole trip! They actually upgraded us to their bridal suite, which was stunning! The bellhop was friendly and helped me carry my massive bag from our car through the whole hotel to our room. The room itself was extremely comfortable and clean and had a massive bath tub in the bathroom. We also really enjoyed the trad music in the Poet's Corner during the evening.

17/09/2024: Great atmosphere, great service, and everyone (including the kids) enjoyed their food. Excellent Green Thai Fish Curry.
