A Delightful Dining Experience at Morrison Grill and Quay 14 Bar My partner and I had a memorable dining experience at the Morrison Grill, followed by drinks at the Quay 14 Bar. From the moment Lena and I arrived, we were greeted by the lovely staff, whose warm welcome set the tone for the evening. The food at Morrison Grill is absolutely delicious. Each dish is crafted with care, showcasing a delightful blend of flavours that cater to a variety of tastes. Whether you're a fan of hearty entrees or lighter fare, there's something for everyone to enjoy. After our meal, we headed to Quay 14 Bar for drinks. The bar offers a fantastic selection of beverages, making it the perfect spot to unwind and reflect on the wonderful dining experience. Overall, we highly recommend you to visit to both the Morrison Grill and Quay 14 Bar. With exceptional service, delectable food, tasty drinks and a welcoming ambiance, it's one Dublin dining establishment that you won't want to miss when you are visiting Dublin!

Consistently excellent food, perfectly poured pints, and top-tier service in a sleek and relaxing setting. A hidden gem for a quality lunch in Dublin. Food: We ordered a ham and cheese sandwich, a steak sandwich (both served with chips), and two pints of Guinness. This was our second visit, ordering the exact same meal, and once again, everything was perfect. For a treat-yourself lunch, this is easily one of the best value-for-money spots in Dublin. Rating: 5/5 ⭐️ Drinks: The Guinness pints were expertly poured. The bar also has an impressive selection of spirits, from everyday staples to premium top-shelf options. There’s something for everyone. Rating: 5/5 ⭐️ Staff: The staff have always been warm and welcoming. Service is fast, and they’re attentive without being overbearing. Rating: 5/5 ⭐️ Environment: The atmosphere is relaxed and classy. Soft background music allows for easy conversation, and the space is modern, open, and stylish, fitting for a hotel bar. Even the bathrooms are high-end, featuring individual towels, soap, and hand cream. Rating: N/A ⭐️ Value for Money: Absolutely worth it. While not your everyday lunch spot due to pricing, it offers excellent food and a refined experience that makes it well worth an occasional visit. Rating: 5/5 ⭐️ ✅ Overall Rating: 5.0/5 ⭐️ (based on categories rated)

Gluten free and vegetarian high tea in Dublin ❤️ the food was outstanding, so many lovely offerings. We also had a regular serving with meats and gluten, it was 10/10. The service was great, the tea was hot and the room was beautiful 😍

Had the pleasure of bringing the girlfriend for afternoon tea at the Morrison Grill. Not my first time at this restaurant and it's always a pleasure to come. Booking process was effective and my contact details identified straight away making it easy to book. I would recommend to anyone coming to Dublin to go taste the Afternoon teas in this restaurant. Fantastic selection of sandwiches & deserts + the best scones in town. Prepared with careby the wonderful Sushil and his team and served by an impeccable service team. Shout out to Sara & Faye who made our afternoon tea meal an epic 5* experience.

Superb! Quality of ingredients was second to none. Excellent service . My steak was overcooked but replaced in no time at all with no fuss, the sign of a good restaurant for me, mistakes happen. Loved it

Octagon Bar

04/08/2025: I have so many fond memories of The Clarence. When I heard of the substantial renovations it was about to undergo, I decided to book a stay there at the end of July as a sort of 'goodbye' to the scene of so many good times. Though some of the rooms have been looking a bit worn of late, 303 was still in great condition. Check-in was easy, and the sets of double windows minimized noise from the quays. There is a real charm to the look and feel of the rooms - the well-built, practical cabinets, the subtle gold tiling accenting the bath. I fear most of it will be replaced by whatever happens to be trendy as the refit is undertaken, but hopefully some of what made the place special will survive. Most of all, it's a real loss to see the hotel staff scattered to the winds. I sadly didn't get his name, but I'd like to especially highlight the kindness and care of the staff member who was manning reception on August 4th. I nipped in with a last minute request, and he (and the colleague he found to assist me) could not have been more gracious, even as the hotel was being packed up and closed around him. So long to The Clarence. What a great run.
25/07/2025: Great place in Temple Bar. Steps away from pubs, restaurants, and historic sites. Right on the River Liffey.

23/09/2025: The service staff manager was a little rude, and not cooperative, kinda ruined our whole mood of the party of 10 people. The food though was good, especially the starters. Dahi papdi chaat and pav bhaji fondue are a must try. The food was, all in all, good.
22/09/2025: It’s well worth the walk from the city center, as both the food and service are truly outstanding. The only detail that could be improved is the choice of music, which doesn’t quite complement the ornate Indian-style interior.
