Quite average. Oddly the restaurant boasts a bovine image on its branding and yet it only had two proper steak options. Gallery images show steak on bone yet this is not available. Amazing chicken wings!!! But the 50 euro 12oz steak we had each was over cooked. My wife’s was redone as hers was not good, which was redone ok. But it’s simply done too fast and outside was tough on mine. Whoever is cooking these doesn’t know steak. Was a nice venue and staff nice enough. It would not take much to make this 5 stars - get the cooking process down-pat, offer at least 4 steak options, one with bone and work on a mildly better wine list. For 200+ euro with wine, people will expect better.

Excellent location and ambiance. The service was very good and the menu was varied and reasonably priced, as was the wine list. Bathrooms were clean and the restaurant appeared to be very well managed. The only complaint was that a 10% tip was snuck into the bill without informing.

The food is incredible here - I had the scallops and the steak and it was beautiful. Was travelling on my own and felt slightly rushed by the service team, which didn’t appear to be the case for other tables. Thankfully the quality of the food made up for that

Had gluten free afternoon tea here. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive site around either. Food was excellent and loads of gluten free options. Would definitely recommend for coeliacs

30/03/2024: Went on a whim as it's near a friend's house and honestly so impressed. Burgers are incredible and the truffle fries they suggested are unreal! Topped off with super friendly service 10/10

02/04/2024: Varied menu, a bit pricey but large portions and tasty food.
28/03/2024: I enjoyed trying Vanilla Pod in Dunlaoghaire for the first time with my partner. It was packed (good sign) at lunchtime and we had no reservation so a 5 min wait was a nice surprise. I had the Avocado toast & poached egg which was a little overpriced but absolutely stunning. My partner was disappointed with the burger unfortunately, he wasn't expecting sultanas to be in the relish? It's a new one to me also, we mentioned it to our server at the end who said there was nine in the burger until wr showed her one left on the plate. She advised she wasn't aware until then so perhaps knowing the menu a little better would be great, and leave the burger as it should be lol! I wouldn't eat there every day as it is a bit pricey but for a treat. Minus the sultanas 😉
