There is someone who really cares about the pasta in the kitchen, very nice place. Wish i had one like this close to home.

This is a nice bar on Pearse St. Had been before + was looking forward to returning but the food was not great. I don't think the Pizzas hit the oven for more than 2 minutes which was a shame. The staff were pleasant but no customer service at all. Better training on staff with some banter + table service wouldn't go amiss.

Over in Dublin for a conference, stayed around the corner at the Premier Inn and got lucky with this place.
Smashing pint of Guiness and, here's the important part, outstanding food. Had the Mortadella pizza, the best I've had outside Sicilly, great barman and landlord. Overall a brilliant pub, and I'm eyeing up the extensive whiskey selection for a repeat visit when I'm not working!

We popped into the Moss Lane pub and had a great experience! Awesome whiskey wall, beer selection and all the Irish vibes we were hoping for on one of our first days in Dublin. Highly recommend

We went into Moss while waiting for our hotel to get our room ready.
The food was great. The sweet hot pepper pizza and meatball sub was bomb.
Definitely recommend the is place. Shane made you feel like you were part of the family.

Tried some Irish whiskey here. Shay was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were beginners and he took his time to explain to us and gave great recommendations & tips. Highly recommended for anyone who is interested in trying Irish whiskey for the first time.

We stumbled upon this place our first night in Dublin and it ended up being our favorite. Great atmosphere, terrific service, and the pizza was fantastic! Shane was hilarious and helpful. He made our day! What a great way to Kickoff our trip. He set the bar very, very high. We will be back again before we leave Dublin

This is my second time in Dublin and my fourth visit to Moss Lane, and just like every other time, it never disappoints.
The bar staff are always friendly, welcoming, with great ‘craic’, that makes you feel right at home. There's a great selection of wines, beers and, of course, an excellent pint of Guinness.
What I love most about Moss Lane is that it's a proper pub, but it doesn't fall into the usual trap of serving standard pub grub. You can walk around almost any city and find burgers, chips, and fried food. But Moss Lane offers authentic Italian cuisine, and honestly, it's some of the best Italian food I've had.
On this visit, I had the carbonara with garlic focaccia. I've also tried the pizza before, which was phenomenal. The carbonara is a true Italian carbonara i.e. no cream, just simple, authentic ingredients cooked perfectly. It is genuinely the best carbonara I've tasted. Chef Thiago is incredibly talented and consistently delivers outstanding food.
I would highly recommend Moss Lane whether you're looking for a few drinks, a great meal, or both. It offers the perfect combination of a traditional pub atmosphere, exceptional Italian food, and a comfortable, welcoming environment that's ideal for both groups and solo travellers.
