Mountkennedy Inn in Newtownmountkennedy

This is a really nice pub, staff are always very friendly and helpful. The food is lovely and always well presented. Lovely Guinness as well. I would reccomend this bar if going through the village.

4 stars because the pool table was jammed, and we came to play pool.

My husband and I went for dinner and from the beginning the staff was super welcoming and helpful, always checking on you making sure everything is okay. The food is lovely so as the staff.

To be fair we went at lunch on a very wet and cold Thursday so it was pretty quiet but that's what we wanted. The food was delicious, staff were great and the place looks awesome.

Great lunch experience, arrived in around 2pm Saturday and no issue getting a seat, looked after from moment arrived in. Food was great and drinks went down nicely too🍻

I love The Inn, used to be my local and I still love going there for a curry or some wings and loaded chips. The pints are good, the Guinness is grand and the service is lovely; chatty and friendly as well as always being around to serve. Nice pool table and games with a spots bar section to the side of the restaurant that is tranquil and cozy. Ask for Shauna to pour your Guinness! 5 stars and 2 thumbs up from me!
