A little Avoca in Newtown. Fab place I've driven by a million times. Lovely food and coffee. Def recommend. They should put up a giant coffee and scone sign with an arrow or something ....

Mountkennedy Inn

06/09/2026: Just a quick pit stop for a beer and some light refreshments - crisp's and soft drinks for the kids. Service was excellent - top notch - polite and friendly. Tried a Irish lager - Ri Ra - was fine.
05/09/2026: If you are passing by Newtownmountkennedy, The Mount Kennedy Inn is a must visit. The pub serves delicious food and has a great selection of beer taps. The staff are wonderful, very nice and helpful. It has a summer terrace and plenty of place to sit in for any group size. It has a very cozy atmosphere too. Really lovely place.
