Mullichain Cafe in

Lovely location. The staff were great, as was the food, which includes some vegetarian options 😁

After a 2 hour walk, this cafe was a welcome break. Very busy with walkers, campers and kayakers. Loads of staff who actively looked after you from finding a seat to delivering of food. We both had paninis, tea and coffee. Very fresh, including the side salad. Great to see the owner going around chatting with the customers, a dying habit unfortunately but clearly knows the importance of keeping customers happy. Great PR. I would highly recommend this place. Well done to all the staff.

A very nice cafe on the banks of the river Barrow, we visited on a sunny Sunday morning and sat outdoors on picnic benches overlooking the activities going on around us, people in canoes, and people walking dogs and the beautiful scenery. We had fresh scones and tea and it was delicious! Staff were very friendly and chatty. When we were done we had a lovely canal walk. I would highly recommend a visit here if you are in the area and especially if the sun is shining.

Delicious food, freshly prepared. Love their Caesar Chicken Salad!! And their Capachino is the BEST!

Beautiful location on the river with tables inside and outside. Good choice for lunch and coffee breaks. Lots of parking on site and access to river walks.

We had a delicious lunch here after a walk from graignamanagh along the Barrow to St Mullin’S.. inside the cafe is a very welcoming open fire and friendly staff and host. Everything on the menu was tempting but we settled on homemade soup of the day and a pasta dish. The coffee is good and we indulged in some home made cakes. You can also drive to St.MUllins. In fine weather there is outdoor seating beside the river.

Very pretty cafe. Full of charm and character. Had desserts and coffee could not fault a think would recommend if you are in the area spectacular views of the river barrow
