Came here with my mate the other day and it was a really nice pub with a chilling vibe to it, friendly staff and people were inside seemed friendly, would recommend coming here, cheers.

Out of the way pub but we'll worth a visit due to its history. It has connections with James Joyce and the late John F Kennedy

Look, it's not quite what it was in the days when populated by journalists and printers from what used to be the nearby Irish Press Group, pints bring down hand over fist with lit cigarettes in the same hand in the hurry to return to work after the union mandated "fresh air break", but hints of it are still there - the memorial to dear Con Houlihan who would sometimes snooze face down on the bar, white hair splayed, empty glass of brandy and milk nearby. Even today it's a must visit, though far more tourist than utilitarian.

Great old pub with a real Dublin feeling. Very historic as James Joyce and a young JFK both frequented.

Didn't eat but the Guinness!!! Best pint(s) so far. Almost go to if you want the best Guinness in Dublin.

Very nice pub with a historic wooden interior. Good pint of Guinness as well. Felt like a bit of back street gem.

I can’t thank Ciaran enough. I was followed down the street by an aggressive fella and literally had to run inside to seek shelter. Ciaran stepped, fended the fella off, and made sure I was safe. Honestly, I can’t remember being so well looked after in my entire adult life. Incredible staff who genuinely care about people. Bless!

09/05/2026: Genuinely some of the most delicious Mexican I’ve ever had. Got the chicken burrito with spicy salsa and it was top notch. Will definitely be back!
25/04/2026: This place has been showing up on my Google Maps for months and I was always curious to try but didn't trust the location for being a food establishment and the opening hours. It is a food truck in a parking space in a housing estate, run by a Mexican chef and it's amazing. My partner had the chicken tacos and said it were the best tacos he ever had. I had the veggie burrito and it was delicious, especially I liked the salad and how the cheese melted. We recommend. There are no facilitated seating arrangements, but park benches in the vicinity
