I’m new to this area. I ate here recently with my child. A big step up from your average chipper. You can eat a burger and still feel good afterwards! Lovely staff running the place. I suppose family of original location. Nice thoughtful decor too. I wish them good luck.

Food is delicious. The burgers melt in your mouth and the chips are banging with salt. 5 stars

Munchies sadly closed its doors in May 2025 after many years of business. It was then bought by another local business and reopened its doors in March 2026. They launched with a new menu, featuring coffee, seasoned fries, breakfast rolls and pastries. They then expanded the menu today to include smash burgers and tenders as well as extending their opening hours until 8pm. We have visited twice, the first time having coffees, a breakfast roll and a pastry. The second time having the smash burger, seasoned fries and the tenders. The quality of the food is really good and it's all cooked very well. The fries are the scooper / dipper chips that have become really popular in recent years. It's great to see Munchies back open in the area and this new menu is a welcome change.
