A little gem for a delicious Sunday lunch

Great Food but no heating, we ate with our coats on. Might go back on a summers evening but not this weather.

Lovely place for brunch or dinner in Ardee. Well thought out menu and food is delicious. Service is excellent and they are dog friendly. A great addition to the town.

The only thing better than the food is the service. In every way, it was a five-star experience for us: Friendly staff, thoughtful seating, excellent drinks, exceptional food, and tasty desserts to finish it all. The atmosphere is warm and pleasant, you will be very well looked after if you choose Myrtle - we'll be regulars for sure. This is definitely the best place in the greater Ardee area.

Went out for dinner with my fiancee and everything was perfect. Sinead greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our seats. She was extremely professional and very friendly. We already felt welcome and were sure we will be well looked after. Sadly we forgot to ask the name of the other lady served us today, she was so lovely and professional, she made sure there was no alcohol in my fiancees dessert and they both checked in regularly if everything was up to satisfaction. We ordered olives and chicken liver parfait. Both were tasty. As main we went for pork belly and cod and finished off with upside down apple tart and tiramisu. All have been extremely well made, tasty and balanced. I have to say in years I didn’t get such a good service. The table was set and cleaned properly with clean cutlery and crockery on the table. All the little things, such as changing the water bottle when finished, getting new cutleries and napkins if needed, asking us about the food in time, and checking upon us if we needed any more drinks , letting us know any specials/desserts available just made a huge difference to me personally. I used to work in five-star hotels and I am always very critical, especially about service, but there was not one thing I can say was not perfect. Highly recommended, would give more stars if it would be possible. Thanks for the whole front of house team for welcoming us, and everyone who made our delicious dinner and made our night special and delightful. So so happy we finally made it and we will be back for sure.

We need restaurants like this so badly in the north east area. Quality fresh food made with love and genuine passion. Menu is tight and ever changing. Which means a lot of creativity & consideration around local produce goes into the art of each dish. It’s what good dining is all about 👌🏽✨❤️😋
