Service is second to none. Have been for lunch in the past and its a definite 5* from me, evening menu on the other hand is a 4* at a push! Menu could cause alot of confusion as to whats available/whats not. The chips were quite hard/dry and with no ketchup/vinegar at the table its not a kids favourite, may be an option for the servers to offer these or have them on the table, alot wouldn't want to bother calling someone. Would it put me off returning? Absolutely not. Its an asset to the village and a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere for a fine feed!
