A very special gem of a pub that preserves the great Dublin model to a tee. Beautifully refurbished fittings and most comfortable banquet seating make this the perfect spot for a quiet afternoon (the Guinness is SUPERB here, at a competitive €6.00) or for a superb evening with the unique atmosphere strived for by the likes of myself. As one of my photo-shots show, the back offers a very surprisingly ample function room, pool table included: doubtless the scene for many family and community events over many years. Carla's the boss and she runs the place with a very charming personal touch as well as an obvious love - much deserved - for this utterly loveable pub.

Brilliant Pub in the North inner city, always a good sign when you have loyal regulars! Cosy bar at the front and a large area out the back perfect for parties. Where it also has a pool table. Bar is very well run! Carla and Ann Marie are brilliant. I bring my Journey Irelands pub tour there and often my tourist get to pour their own pints and get a Certificate

Chips was soggy, fish was amazing, service good. But smelled like catpiss at our table in the corner by the TV

Nice quiet neighborhood pub a couple of blocks away from the main road. Great service and nice beer selection.
