We went at lunch time on Friday. Food was ok, price reasonable. Staff were friendly and efficient. It's in a lovely spot right beside the canal. I was tempted to stay on for a beer or 2 in the sunshine in the beer garden!
Was taken for lunch by my friend at Nanny Quinns .Hadn't been eaten here in years. The girl on arrival was friendly and so nice .We had a drink and the place was buzzing with people coming and going. This one girl was running the show with the help of the young bar man.We had 2 steak sandwiches. Omg the best one I've had in a long time in a bar/pub .Striplion steak cooked to your liking on a slice of ciabatta bread with pepper sauce on the side with homemade coleslaw and fries. It was all cooked to perfection as was my friends. We also had dessert the ice cream waffle basket with a nutty cookie.Plus coffees..It was all fab..Will be back again.
Had Sunday lunch here today with my mother and one of my sons. Friendly service and great food, probably the best chicken wings in the country! Had the pasta with chicken breast, absolutely beautiful! Come here fairly often and will be back.
