Delicious Food, great portions and fair price for what you get. All staff was super friendly, we got a table quick even without reservation. The interiour and the inn itself is amazing.

I have rarely had a worse steak. My wife's fish was partly uncooked so maybe we got them on a bad night. Portions are absolutely huge.

Had dinner today and can't complement the staff enough. Amazing food and great atmosphere. Very reasonably priced. You need to book for obvious reasons

Went here with the family last weekend, a single word couldn't describe how lovely and efficient the people were here. The food was also outstanding and overall restaurant vibe was very calm and cosy. Would recommend if it the area.

Food delicious for lunch and price good from Monday to Friday but lunch on Saturday and Sunday is charged at the evening rates which is expensive

Updated 23/5/26 - first time returning for 18 months and there was a good improvement. Some refurbishment and good, attentive staff who were focused on the customer. The food was good and service prompt despite it being busy. Great to see the place doing well again. We love Neville’s a lot and have been so often but the last two times (Saturdays over 6 weeks), the service has been very poor. Both times the wait for food was over an hour and the serving staff are very young with no supervision at all. They just hang around chat which means your plates are not cleared, no one checks on you, you have to chase for your drinks, ask for dessert menus and eventually ask for spoons to eat your dessert with. I’m so disappointed and really want the owners to resolve it so that we can be happy to come back. For now, we’ll give it a bit of a rest whilst they get their issues sorted, and go to somewhere that they know what they are doing. Three stars is being generous because of the food quality and the ambience only.

Fantastic bar/restaurant. Loads of choice, lovely surroundings and atmosphere, stove lit 🔥 Food is fantastic, responsive and professional staff. Highly recommend.
