Bursting with energy and local flavor, The Milk Market sits proudly in the heart of Limerick - under Ireland’s largest canopy, no less. It’s a weekend feast featuring fresh produce, artisan foods, crafts, and live tunes - a total vibe. Friendly vendors offer tastings and banter galore. Whether you’re after crusty sourdough, silky cheeses, or sweet pastries, this is the place to soak in the city’s heartbeat. A must-visit for locals and tourists alike - equal parts delicious and electric.

There are some epic farmers markets in Ireland and this is one of them. Every Saturday from 8 AM to 2 PM although some of the good stuff is gone by 10 AM. There are lots of prepared food, vendors, selling sandwiches, crêpes, orange juice, pastry, jams, and jellies. But there were also several great veg, farmers selling, high-quality produce, eggs, raw milk, cheese, anti, pasta, components, freshly baked cookies, mushrooms, Craft, honey, forged items from around Limerick and Clare counties. There’s usually music. There are usually fresh flowersand the streets around the milk market have exhibitors as well. Free to enter. Come check it out.

The Milk Market is only open two days a week. A shame when you only have one day in Limerick.

I like this place because of the events that take place. This Sunday was a great festival. It's hard to find another epithet, because there is a great variety of events here. Interesting lectures, musical performances, exhibitions, collections of flowers and goods and much more. Yes, collections, because not all of them are for sale, some are the pride of the owners.
There are various cafes, for every taste and shops. Jewelry and blacksmiths' work, local cheeses and a variety of clothes. Lots of handicrafts and folk art. Educational experience and good rest.
We met a person who is interested in growing rare flowers and environmentally friendly plants and makes rare jams and wines from them. Imagine flower wines. For example, wine from dandelions or roses. And much more. This is not his business. This is the calling of the soul - to share with people the pure gifts of nature. Now we try to meet him at exhibitions and buy his products. For example, jam from rose petals. It is not only tasty, but also removes stomatitis, especially in children. We try not to miss this event despite certain difficulties with parking.

Brilliant way to experience the heart of Limerick and trade with local businesses for goods, services, and experiences you could find nowhere else. Highly recommended. Drop in, chill for a while and take in the experience.
