The reason it got 4 stars is the premise was cold on arrival at 6pm ( it doesn’t open at 17:30 as stated on trip adviser ) I had the Chicken supreme and better half had the fish and chips. Have to say very tasty. We were served by Anastasia who was very polite, moving us to a warmer position etc. I recommend Nivana, but leave to a bit later if weather is cold

Myself and my family were at Nirvana today for Sunday lunch. The beef was probably the nicest beef I have ever eaten, so tasty and tender. The service was impeccable and super friendly. I did not have one downfall. This was one of only two places to eat out in Ballyshannon on a Sunday. Our town needs this beautiful restaurant, and the lovely owners deserve every success!

This place is seriously good! We have been here twice, once on Friday and once on Saturday, and it's been half full at most, they definitely deserve more patronage! I guess it's the low season right now to be fair. The burger is a real meal, big burger, with well cooked bacon, side salad, 2 onion rings on top, and a separate generous bowl sized portion of chips. They could follow the viral protest video suggestion to make burgers wider not taller! It was about an inch thick at centre, so the same amount of beef pressed at least as wide as the generously sized bun would be better but I shouldn't complain, it was still delicious. The onion rings are the antithesis to those horrible frozen ones where you cant recognize the onion, they must be reserving the largest rings from each onion and saving the rest for the other dishes. Really appreciate the effort from the chefs here and the service staff are lovely too. My partner is vegetarian and there are not too many options, but luckily the second time we came there was a blue cheese and mushroom linguine on the specials menu which was fantastic.
