Great restaurant to enjoy a meal in when visiting Ballyshannon

The food is top restaurant quality, not bulk made. Fish was fresh as it could be. 2 waitress looking every wish of us. Furniture high quality, looking posh. Very satisfied.

Fantastic restaurant! We visited twice during our stay over the Ballyshannon Folk Festival weekend. Very convenient to our accomodation and the town. My niece has a medical assistance dog and the team could not have been more accommodating of us, making our visits relaxing and pleasant. The food was absolutely beautiful and we look forward to returning. Conor in particular was amazing, sorting our table for us and serving us in such a friendly manner, he went above and beyond and is an asset to the restaurant. Brid also was extremely welcoming and the entire staff friendly and efficient. A must-do if in Ballyshannon! Thank you to the team at Nirvana.

Those of a certain age may remember a BBC 2 sit-com from the early 1990's called "Absolutely Fabulous" - well that also describes Nirvana! We were a group of 8 fellas escaping our better halfs for the weekend. We booked / dined on Friday 7th July. We immediately booked the Saturday night too. It was exceptional on both nights: the quality, the quantity and especially the staff. We had a great time and hope to be back soon!

Superb food, wonderful attentive staff and a lovely atmosphere. Couldn’t praise this place highly enough on all fronts. Food was outstanding, portion sizes were perfect and a great selection on offer from the menu. Would highly recommend.

Excellent food, reasonably priced and service very efficient and friendly.

We discovered this restaurant while attending the Rory Gallagher Festival and so glad we did! We attended it on Saturday and Sunday and had the most delicious meals, my partner said it was the best lamb she had tasted! The owner and Dympna were simply delightful and we feel we now have new friends as well as a great restaurant to attend. We look forward to returning next year if not before. We thoroughly recommend this restaurant! Tim and Issy
