Top coffee shop near UL, puts on campus to shame in regards to service

Ok coffee. Wasn't getting welcoming vibes from staff though. In a great location but I'd be hesitant on going back based on my experience.

It was lovely but could use more vegan options

Fantastic cafe. There’s always a bustle here. The staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient. I used the hatch to get a take away coffee: The cappuccino coffee is delicious. It’s well located to then go for a walk around UL. I would definitely recommend coming here.

The scone was INCREDIBLE. Will make an effort to get another whenever I visit next. Wasn’t sure impressed by the latte, would add a shot of espresso to make the flavor stronger.

The food is really healthy and of high quality. The staff are friendly too. We would highly recommend this restaurant/cafe. The coffee is superb also.

Perfect place for breakfast or lunch

Arrived 9.30am, as entered you could walk no further than entrance as console table with sign saying wait to be seated. We were seated in minutes by a friendly waiter. It's a really upbeat place, industrial decor which i like and no fuss menu. I had smashed avocado which was delicious 😋 the pesto makes it. My husband was disappointed his eggs Benedict were hard and lacking much hollandaise sauce. He thought for the cost 2x slices sourdough would have been more substantial. Coffee was good, facilities spotless. Friendly team. Wasn't too busy but there were tables reserved. Good food, well presented, friendly service.
