Noctor's in Dublin

Proper Irish pub on a proper Irish street, brimming with local pride (love it). As an English man, I was a little apprehensive, but everyone was very welcoming, had a great craic and after sampling much more Guinness during our trip, I can, without a doubt, say that this was the best Guinness poured in Ireland 🇮🇪 Thanks for the warm welcome fellas. We found this place by accident, it's really authentic, run by the same lady for 42 years. The other customers were nice and really talkative even though they jokingly tried to scare us a bit when we went out smoking. The pint is 5.50 for the moment, and it's really well poured, supposedly the best in the area. The area itself is a bit sketchy but no one was aggresive or even mean. There's pool and a jukebox and the interior is very vintage. For me it was worth it but not for everyone probably. As a foreigner it may be hard to understand some guys' accent, but the lady at the bar is extremely nice.

We went there on our first evening, and we had an amazing time. The staff and people were incredibly welcoming, and the Guinness was by far the finest we had in Dublin. Greetings from Germany

This is an authentic Irish neighborhood pub!!! Very gritty… Guinness pour was perfect! The pub was full of locals and everyone was very nice. Cash only, so bring your Euros!
