Our visit was ruined for 4 English people visiting Ireland by 1 man wearing a Celtic football shirt. Who on hearing my son’s accent. Started shouting sectarian comments across the bar. He was quickly shut up by the management. This has NEVER happened to us in over 40 years of visiting Athlone & hopefully was an isolated incident. Such a shame. 1 idiot ruined our visit

Best spicebox in the ireland imo 👌🏻not too much focus on the chicken and chips and with nicely seasoned vegetables too, but would be great if they brought back indoor dining, after all, lockdown is long over. Please do this, Sohos. It would be lovely to sit in at your restaurant again 🙏🏻 🥲❤️
