After a long drive around the Beara Peninsula, we stopped at O'Neill's Bar for something to eat. I had fish & chips, and it was excellent! My friend had beef burger, which was outstanding as well. The atmosphere was very friendly, the ambience warm and cozy, and the music selection was perfect.The only pity was that the weather wasn’t nicer, so we could have eaten outside on the beautiful terrace with its stunning view. Strongly recommended!

Fast service, open all hours from noon onwards. Generous portions. Parking nearby. Nice pub, good music, good atmosphere.

Came here after a long drive and walking around in the wind. I was just expecting a bite to eat but the food was excellent. The curry was bomb, I highly recommend it. My daughter got pizza and it was also very good, with a nice crust and looks like it came from a very hot oven. Service was friendly and quick!

This is a great place! Very friendly and welcoming. Amazing chowder and a nice beer selection. The service is friendly and costumer oriented. The food was served quickly and was very delicious. We enjoyed our stay.

20/05/2026: Stopped by for a late lunch. Swift service and lovely food. I had the Burger and my wife the salad. Both excellent.
03/05/2026: I’ve eaten here a few times. The food is very good and they have a lovely outdoor space, which is great if you are there with children, as they can wander around the garden. There is a separate garden that they charge to visit (even if you’ve spent hundreds of euros in the restaurant). The staff were friendly but the service was extremely slow. We sat down at 2pm and had mains at 3:30pm. It is expensive. Sunday lunch is €55 for 3 courses or €44 for two, plus drinks, and some dishes have a supplement. The 13 hour strip-loin roast was disappointing (€7 supplement) - tasty but tough, the wrong cut for a slow roast in my opinion
