This is just a world class restaurant in an incredible location, overlooking the beach, the sea and Kenmare Bay. The food is excellent, particularly the seafood. The staff, all of them, are just so welcoming. This has got to be the best restaurant in South Kerry!

Fish and slips Great location on the beach. It once had a bit more laid back flip flop feel now it’s more charge an arm and leg for a fistful of frozen chips and a nice piece of fish. It’s the chips that stick in the craw when will restaurants stop buying in cheap deep fried pencils and just cut some potatoes it might then justify the price

Doolin Hostel

16/01/2026: Beautiful place, very friendly staff, food was delicious. First evening we had Fish and chips, and my husband had a burger, which was amazing! Breakfast, which was included, had a very wide selection. Eggs Florentine one of the best we ever had.
29/12/2025: We had our wedding reception and day two here just a couple of weeks ago. Honestly, could not fault the place from start to finish. From the food, to the venue and amazing staff, we're so thankful for all of the help they gave us to make our day special. Paul in particular was such a good help. Hotel Doolin will always be a special place for us now and we'd highly recommend anyone thinking of choosing it as a venue for their wedding to go for it. Doolin is stunning and so is the hotel - 5 stars all day long for everything. Thank you all
