Absolute peak Ireland pub. Right next to our hostel, we ventured here many times. Packed on St pattys. Immaculate beer, breakfast, and location.

The barman Brian was an absolute star so funny but most of all welcoming and friendly. First time in Dublin today 2 April for me and a friend and wanted to go to a traditional bar rather than a tourist one to get the real taste of Guinness. The Guiness and service was 10 out of 10. So much so that I had to buy a tshirt which they was selling....worth every penny. Thanks Brian... the girls from Up North...North of England that is.

Me and my Friend came to O'connell's for a pint of Guinness the guys who work there are lovely so friendly and helpful We returned later to have out tea and the food was delicious 😋 and service was spot on

My wife and I stayed near O'Connells during our stay in Dublin. This is a top notch pub in the area with the inside being absolutely gorgeous. The place was immaculately clean as we're the bathrooms. The bars were beautifully lit and the bar staff were some of the best in the city. Mike took care of me and my wife and also helped us with places to eat and visit on our adventures outside of the city. This was hands down my favorite pub to go to and we went back repeatedly.

Nice pub, beer prices are cheaper than in the Temple Bar area. Even if the pub looks small from the outside, it is actually quite big.

24/05/2025: Super delicious food, very good value for the portions served. We were a group of 6 people and the total was €73. A little out of the way from the center, but we had the small one before going to the Guinness experience, and it was well worth it.
11/05/2025: Great breakfast. Will fill you for the day. My go to for breakfast from now on. Highly recommend 👌

Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, with rich, authentic flavors that felt like a warm hug in every bite. The portions were generous — perfect for sharing, though honestly, you’ll want it all for yourself. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, like being with lifelong friends. And the drinks… what a surprise! I’ve never had an Aperol so delicious in my life — perfectly balanced, refreshing, and beautifully served. This place is truly a hidden gem. Definitely one of my favorite spots in the city. Can’t wait to go back! ❤️
