O'Connells in Dublin

Friendly welcoming pub with amazing food!!

It was our first time there and we really enjoyed it. The food was very good. We'll definitely come back again.

Stopped o for a coffee, staff were really friendly and chatty, food was being served looked great.

Lovely pub, good reasonably priced food and really friendly staff. While we were there we saw one of the bar staff going above and beyond to help an elderly man who came in to eat, well done, so nice to see in a busy spot, we will definitely be back.

A lovely, centrally located pub, cozy, with friendly service and delicious food with a good selection. We were there in the afternoon, but will definitely come back for another meal.

Came to Dublin on a Marching Band Trip as our Band, the Marching Illini, was Marching in the Dublin St. Patrick's day parade. Found O'Connell's after trying to escape the crazy Temple Bar area on St. Patricks Day. Great atmosphere and even better staff. Pints were a decent price and poured to perfection. Met Brian on staff and his hospitality made our trip! Our group all talked with him about Chicago and the Illinois Marching Band and did a couple of our school chants with him per his request. He also asked if we could bring the whole marching band to the pub to play a couple tunes. We unfortunately couldn't do that, but we did offer him one of our trip patches and a Marching Illini shirt. The Marching Illini Mellophones thank Brian and his staff for a great Irish pub experience! You guys made our trip to Ireland so special, and we will cherish the lifelong memories we made! Cheers!
