Food, music, atmosphere, craft beer all very good. The Guinness however very disappointing, lifeless. Needs big improving. Great location.

Nice cosy pub, staff all lovely and welcoming - great pint of Guinness and food was super tasty. One thing was that the corn ribs feel a little pricey and the Guinness is almost €1 more expensive than McGowan’s right across the road. Altogether though a nice experience and would return

Peggies is a nice local and a good place for a party. It used to have a car park that made it attractive for funerals from Mount Jerome but the car park disappeared during the pandemic and parking is now a problem, hence it's become a local rather than a destination.
