Irish lamb stew from locally grown sheep was the highlight- delicious and enjoyed with a pint of Sullivan’s red ale. Lovely owner and friendly staff

10/08/2025: We dined at Lansdowne Restaurant on two evenings. All the dishes were excellent, with great attention to the quality of the ingredients and the preparation. The value for money is truly excellent, and the staff is very friendly and attentive.
01/08/2025: Such a great hotel- Rooms were lovely, service was excellent and location couldn’t be any better- right in the town but not too noisy if you want an earlier night! Such friendly staff- would 100% recommend to anyone coming to Kenmare!

13/09/2025: Located in the heart of Kenmare, this was a fantastic place to stay. The room was clean and big, with a comfortable bed. Downstair is a bar / dining room that serves up some great meals and a nice breakfast. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. They often have local musicians to provide music in the evenings. There is some on-site and street parking, but if those are filled up there is a free public parking lot only a block away.
30/08/2025: New, spacious, and spotlessly clean room! Very friendly owners. Excellent classic Irish breakfast. Recommended!
