Popped in here for pizza. We just drove from Westport to Donegal and were famished. Our pizza came really quick. Service was excellent. I only wish there was more basil on my pizza.

Abbey Hotel

03/02/2026: Stayed one night at The Abbey Hotel, Donegal. The location is good and very convenient for the town. Parking was a bit of an issue, with only street parking at the front or a nearby parking space about a 3-minute walk away. The room was just okay and could use some improvement — there was a noticeable toilet smell, and the mattress really needs replacing as it felt very worn out. Fine for a short overnight stay mainly because of the location, but overall the comfort could be better.
