Popped in here for pizza. We just drove from Westport to Donegal and were famished. Our pizza came really quick. Service was excellent. I only wish there was more basil on my pizza.

Abbey Hotel

23/03/2026: We just had a stay at the Abbey Hotel in Donegal Town. The town is lovely, lots of food and shopping options and historic sites. A great base if you want to see Donegal. The hotel was nice, they seem to be sprucing it up at the moment, nice bar and restaurant and the breakfast was lovely. Service at the front desk a little lacking.
15/03/2026: Stayed here for a family break and the staff on reception and in the bar and restaurant were great. There was a very rude older woman with short grey hair and a gap in her front teeth that served us at breakfast, rolling her eyes when I asked if I could have a vegetarian option. We were all shocked by this reaction from someone there to serve us and be polite and professional!

Weavers Loft Restaurant

21/01/2026: Had a fantastic lunch....10 of us were in we preordered thru Caroline, nothing was an issue for her, thoroughly enjoyed and will be back
17/10/2025: Great service, food was excellent. We had the fish pie, Shepherds pie and Banoffee pie. A little gem hidden away above McGee’s shop .
