The service is excellent! The bread, fish, and oysters... taste wonderful! I highly recommend it! The price is right, too!

A fantastic place to have lunch in a really pretty little fishing village. The fish chowder was one of the best I have ever had! I strongly recommend you stop off here to eat.

We ate the sweet and spicy salmon. The salmon was okay, but the sauces were strangely similar to well-known industrial sauces. The salad was bland, lacking in interest and seasoning, and the mashed potatoes were light and pleasant in texture, but the portion was a bit ridiculous. We felt like we were eating in a canteen.

One of the only restaurants in the area. Food is fresh but a bit too simple. The restaurant itself is a bit like a fisherman's house with little decorations, little rooms and old tables and chairs. It is typical but not very cozy. For lunch it is perfect but I would try to find somewhere more relaxing for dinner.

We ordered the :
Chowder - amazing and you can find generous peaces of fish in there.
Garlic Bread - very good too!
Fish and chips - so nice and fresh that you could see the fish skin in it, and the chips were so crisp and dried.
Blue cheese chicken - simple and lovely, so well seasoned and tasty, served with mash which was unbelievably delicious and simple as it is.
The bread they serve at the start which is divine and we had to ask for some more.
The view, the staff, the food were all amazing and this place was actually a recommendation of one of our friends, and definitely a must go spot to visit and have a great Irish local food!

Excellent restaurant (a bar adjoins). Fine and hearty cuisine.
Sea view and pub atmosphere.
A place not to be missed, with the added bonus of a magnificent drive to Kylemore and Galway, crossing the magnificent landscapes.

A favorite stop on our road trip up the Wild Atlantic Way! Delicious food, good prices, and delightfully sweet staff. It was a gorgeous day so we sat outside looking over the water. Ten out of ten!

We visited for dinner twice while staying in Roundstone. It’s a great cosy little pub and restaurant in the town where the meals felt very homely. We were very impressed with the wine list. The chowder was the best I’ve had in a good while, and the fish of the day and seafood pies were fabulous. The staff are great. We also had a few pints next door in the bar, which felt very local even though it was probably more tourists than anything. I would say it’s a must-visit in Roundstone.
