O’Dowd’s in Roundstone

Amazing place, great views and friendly service. The fisherman's platter was delicious and paired with a perfect wine!

A highly recommended spot on our Wild Atlantic Way trip. We went there for lunch and had lobster with garlic bread and pasta with smoked salmon. It was delicious. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive.

We had a wonderful meal at O'Dowd's Seafood Bar and Restaurant on Main Street in Roundstone! The seafood here is incredibly fresh and the food was really delicious. The quality of everything we ordered was outstanding: * The fish and chips were perfectly golden and crispy with a very generous portion of fries. * The seafood dip served with plenty of crisp brown toast made for an excellent starter. * The seafood platter loaded with fresh oysters, mussels, and smoked salmon was an absolute highlight of our visit. On top of the great taste, the pricing was fair and very reasonable for the portion sizes and freshness of the catch. The only downside to our evening was that our seating was unfortunate, being placed right next to the toilet door, which wasn't the most ideal spot for ambiance. However, the incredible food and friendly atmosphere more than made up for it. This is definitely a place to recommend if you are in Co. Galway!
