Fresh oysters. And seafood chowder. Very nice and lovely pub with an amazing view of the bay

Great experience overall. We ate in the bar area—service was solid, but the standout was the food. The curry and chowder were the best we’ve had so far on this trip. The fish (hake) had excellent flavor and was nicely done, lightly breaded on one side which really worked. Unfortunately, they were out of crab, so we weren’t able to try that. Great location and definitely a hidden gem for food.

Called in on the way back home to Cong, great little restaurant and bar... in a beautiful little seaside village, lovely food, would definitely return...

Excellent value for money! We had two starters (seafood chowder) and were very satisfied. The fish was fresh and delicious. Guinness is €5.50. The garlic bread was a little lacking in garlic. The place is heated by a wood fire! Great for a stopover.
